Social Responsibility
At our digital marketing agency in Oman, everyone is treated fairly and ethically. Our culture is to work as a community that takes care of its surroundings and the people working in them. We believe that treating everyone justly and not getting involved in any kind of favouritism is our ethical responsibility. This includes the company’s stakeholders, including leaders, investors, employees, and customers. Taking care of everyone, staying respectful, and sharing responsibility also fall under this. At the end of the day, treating our community the right way and taking responsibility for each other is the only way to grow steadily.
To abide by these beliefs, we provide our employees with a salary that’s higher than the average wage or that set by the state or federal government as “minimum livable wage”. Additionally, we do not differentiate when hiring based on anything other than the required qualifications. We also partner with multiple socially responsible clients and help them grow. Consulting stakeholders before impactful business decisions is also one of our policies.
Environmental Responsibility
The declining environmental conditions and devastating climate change are a concern for all, and we understand the need for shifts to prevent them from getting worse. This is also a part of our responsibility as the ones living here and operating a business. We also realise that if we aren’t considerate, climate change can reach the point where it becomes highly harmful, and we have started experiencing a small part of it.
Due to this, we keep our operations environmentally friendly and try to consider this aspect every step of the way. We also aim to bring a positive change to these crises and make it bigger in the future. The work on this has already started and includes reducing our carbon footprint. For a company like us, carbon is the biggest factor in climate change that we can improve; that’s why our instructions for wasting energy are clear, such as turning off devices when not in use and cleaning desktop data periodically.
Alongside this, we actively try to reduce electricity usage by not keeping lights on only for aesthetics and discourage the use of unnecessary plastics. Emissions are also something we consider reducing to help us and our society bounce back from the harmful effects of climate change.
Privacy Responsibility
For us, the privacy of our clients, employees, customers, and anyone involved is our utmost priority, and we take strict measures to prevent any breach. This is especially important in the current times, where accessing information is easy online. When dealing with any personal or private information, we are diligent and make sure we meet the highest standards. We consider it our responsibility and basic human courtesy to maintain a level of privacy for all.
Our measures include maintaining trust and strictness in dealing be it with employees or clients that are related to our company. Working in the digital sector, a bigger responsibility lands on us because we work digitally, data breaches are easier, and we understand this nature of our work and what impact it makes on our clients and business. Considering this, our policies are uptight and we ensure they are followed, for which we periodically go through how the data is being handled. The data includes any sensitive information of our clients and employees that needs to be kept safe and protected. Workplace Responsibility
As an organization, providing a safe, just and unrestrictive workplace is a part of our duty. We adhere to health, safety, human rights, and Harassment laws in our firm and ensure its implemented everywhere within the organization. Our instructions are made clear to each person in our firm and are directed to treat others with respect and maintain professional behaviour. Any kind of disrespect, inequality, or discrimination is not tolerated at Arabian Axis.
At our marketing agency, we maintain an environment where every individual can work comfortably and reach their potential without any hurdles. We understand how a well-managed environment with comfort and safety can affect our community’s performance and mental health. Which is why we make sure employees are given a set number of leaves that they can avail when needed. Each member is expected to behave according to our guidelines and values and strict action is taken against those who don’t abide by them.
Here it’s also our focus to try and include individuals from various backgrounds, religions, ages, and genders to improve workplace diversity. And we ensure no discrimination is done in the hiring process and is only focused on the skills and qualifications required, regardless of unrelated factors like race.
To keep our workplace environment suitable for maintaining health, we provide a lunch area where employees can energize in peace. Apart from this, mental health is also something we consider and try not to burden anyone with a workload that they can’t handle. We strictly follow our code of ethics at our workplace and don’t allow any kind of discrimination or harassment, whether physical or verbal. Taking advantage of a higher position is also not allowed and if discovered, actions are taken accordingly. For health purposes, Arabian Axis also keeps its premises smoke-free and smoking is only permissible outside the office area.
